THE ORGAN THAT PLAYS ITSELF
A breakthrough for churches that cannot find regular organists

The Problem
Many churches have a problem on their hands - organists seem to be becoming more and more scarce, and some churches even have to sing without accompaniment. Other churches persuade someone to play the organ who finds the job difficult, and often this makes the hymn-singing hard work, even though the player is doing his or her best.

Help is at hand

Today it is easy to combine a modern digital organ with a 'sequencer', a small device which plays computer disks. Disks can be filled with hymn tunes, organ voluntaries, wedding marches, etc. The sequencer literally tells the organ what to play, and it can be operated by anyone in the church, without the need for an organist being present.

Over 150 churches around Britain already use this system, and they report that it is transforming their worship.

There are several machines on the market today which offer pre-recorded hymns and songs, but we believe that for churches who still use a majority of traditional hymns, our system is by far the best available. We can give 2 major reasons for this:
   1. Our system allows you to record your own tunes/pieces to personalise your
library of music alongside the pre-recorded disks.
   2. With this system you actually have a digital keyboard instrument which can be
played on those occasions when a player is available.

The system is currently available for use with two models of Ahlborn instruments.
   1. The SL100 - a small single manual organ in an attractive traditional cabinet.
   2. The SL61 - a portable classical keyboard.

We currently have available on disk over 800 hymns and songs, mainly taken from Hymns and Psalms - the book used by most Methodist Churches. Many of these tunes are used by other denominational hymnbooks, and we are currently working on the preparation of further disks based on Anglican tradition.
